Dr. Frederick Prins was born in the Netherlands in 1938 and emmigrated with his family to the United States in 1948.  He grew up on a dairy farm in Southern California. 
He has been certified as an Optometrist since 1964, and  practicing in Idaho since 1984. 
His ethics as a doctor include being honest with his patients, spending as much time as needed with them, and explaining all refractive corrections and lenticular options available.  In his eye exams he focuses on a thorough care history, and starts from the base with each person.  He is caring and precise, and has retained loyal patients for over 45 years.
